A Ministry of Reconciliation

Living Word Ministry is a ministry of reconciliation that seek to enable a people to reconcile their lives back to God and to become totally functional in a world that has lost Purpose and a joy of living.

A many faceted outreach that serves to help the lost, weary and the broken hearted transition in the recovery to new a life in God's Word (Christ Jesus). A life of stability and purpose in this world and in a time and world to come.

2 Corinthians 5: 18 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

The Men's work are under the direction of Elder Larry David Bowe. Elder Bowe has served in several leadership positions, which place him in the position to lead other men in their walk with Christ. It is the desire of Living Word Mission to empower all men and women to live and serve before God and men. The following are but a few of the programs which aide in shaping men in their role as leaders, husbands, fathers and community supporters.

Men In Transition To Ministry

Every man is in transition from a life of sin (Psalms 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done [this] evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, [and] be clear when thou judgest. 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.)

The transition of our thinking (renewal of our minds), feelings towards God, and man is a process of knowing The Truth of God's Word and it makes us free, John 8: 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Ex-offender transition from incarceration to independent living through Pre-release Counseling, Post-release Counseling; housing, employment development, Life-skills development, literacy development, computer education, and job placement.

ASPIRING MISSIONARIES/WOMEN CREAT A REASON FOR CHANGE; The Aspiring Missionary is a women who is saved and filled with the Holy Ghost and feels a special call of God in her life for a higher ministry (SERVICE OF GOD). Whether married or single, the role of the woman is designed to bring any man to his rightful place, and she, a woman can remind him of that.

Local, State Y.W.C.C./ YOUNG WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN COUNSEL

1.Train young women to be auxiliary leaders, prayer warriors, good homemakers, lovers of their own husbands, minister’s wives, and mighty women in Zion.

2.Instruct, develop and assist young women in their outreach and evangelism work.

3.Create opportunities for outreach in our communities, through home visitation, community outreach and visitation of the sick, needy and widow.

4.Developing a woman to woman mentoring/discipleship ministry pairing older, mature believers with younger women to encourage each other in the faith.

The Motherhood Project:

Motherhood/Family/Household development is not just important, it is a gift of God only the woman can fill. Caring for the seed of the man, nurturing, training of the child, youth, young adult is a vital role, if lacking crates a vacuum for the family today.

The case has been established that in the absence of a mother, our children, in particular daughter's lack the identity necessary to effectively and productively move forward in life and at best possibly be dysfunctional in many aspects of social life. These disconnect results in the disconnection (lack of experience) in relationship building spiritually, within the family, community, and or the duty to become productive workers. The Motherhood Project will explore and create answers to the current dilemma or question, where are the mothers?

Child Advocacy: CASA Child Advocacy

Every Church should consider having CASA Child Advocacy volunteers to intervene and advocate for children in the court system. You become a voice for the child when the family structure and possibly the system no longer support their needs. CASA Child Advocacy, a rewarding and a much needed work.

Women in Transition to Ministry (Becoming a service of God)

A call for the woman to take her rightful place in God's design as a gift of God to The man,

Ministering, assisting the woman (female) to come to a place of wholeness in the Kingdom of God in this present time. The insults and offenses of this world are intended to destroy the woman and her effectiveness in her role towards the man.

Geneses 1: 18 And the LORD God said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone ; I will make him an help meet for him.

What keeps the woman from entering her role?

Sexual offenses, (insults to physical person) demeaning role/positions responsibilities,

(Insults to the Mind or Soul) and error and lack of understanding of God's Word,

(insult of the spiritual self of the Women).

Every Woman was created to serve, be a help meet.
